Beemer Fisheries specialize in the natural balancing of ponds. For a pond to be successful and to produce fish of sizable sport value, you must imitate nature's way. We strongly recommend a stocking of many species of fish as most of the fish spawn at different times of the year and they spawn in sufficient quantities to provide food for themselves and the other fish in the ponds. Out of each spawn a certain amount will survive to grow into adult fish. We feel that our fish can have a higher survival rate through harsh winters because our breeding stock comes from Iowa. If you bought some fish from the south, your survival rate could be very low.
